CMV: Movies don't exist to turn men into beta bux , they simply satisfy some people's fantasies

According to this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/3l3zco/cmv_hollywood_romcoms_chick_flicks_and_mainstream/ the movie industry is part of the feminine imperative that exists to brainwash men into being beta bux . I don't think that's the case at all. Some movies exist to satisfy some people's fantasies, just like porn exists to satisfy male fantasies and just like action movies exist to satisfy male fantasies.

Movies just show what some people want to see, they're rarely there to teach lessons. I guess according to TRPillers we should remove happy endings and never have the main character pair up with a girl because that's the feminine imperative.

This reminds me of the feminist SJW argument that movies brainwash women and that there are not enough female role model in movies. Guys , they are just movies, why take them so seriously ?
