Getting Rocket League to my steam account

So I got Rocket League for my PS4 when it was a free download from the market. Now I noticed i have Rocket League in my steam account too. I haven't linked the two of them that I know of.. Should I get worried about my privacy or how can I explain this happening? Anyone else had the same thing happened to them?
