Some showerthoughts about ethics vs anti-sjw

I think GG has different fronts, each of which has been here since day 1:

• The ethics crowd. We need these guys to make practical, objective wins in journalism.
• Culture warriors / anti-sjws. The underlying ideologies must also be combated.
• The shitposters. Humour, satire and mockery are more powerful than they seem.

We're actually stronger as specialized fronts. We don't need the ethics guys to join the culture war, or vice versa. We don't need to police the shitposters to make our image better. We don't need the pointless contrarian non-debates that try to homogenize or sow discord among these fronts, because they only weaken the overall cause.
