iPod Touch 6th Gen - Won't Sync
Hi there,
I am trying to sync music from my Windows PC - iTunes to my iPod touch 6th generation and am having a few difficulties I'm hoping someone can help with.
I have iCloud and Apple Music turned off on the device. I'd just like to connect to the PC and have iTunes sync all of my music across to the iPod
I've set it up to auto Sync all of my music, and it appears to do so. Goes through the motions of adding all songs. When the iPod is connected to the PC all of the songs show up and everything works as expected.
When I unplug the iPod from the PC (Eject first) and WIFI is turned off - no songs show in the music app. Settings -> Manage Storage shows the storage is used...but the Music App isn't listed as using any space
Connecting the iPod back to the PC shows the space used as 'other' and not music. iPod starts the sync all over again and appears to work as normal (although 'other' doesn't go down). - Unplugging once again does the same as above
If I wipe the iPod and choose 'Manually Manage Music And Videos' I can manually add the songs and all appears well. Works as I would expect after unplugging.
Any ideas on what could be going on here? And how to fix it?
Thanks for any help
