24 [M4F] Just a guy in upstate Ny and looking for something or someone special.

So, this is my first time ever posting in a dating thing. Forgive me as I'm not the kind of guy who usually does these sort of things.

Anyways, I'm originally from the east end of Long Island, around the Suffolk area and I moved for the upstate region, that was going back 'bout 10 years. I'm described,by some, to be an old soul and I'd say that the jury's still out on that 1. I'm also a bit of a gamer, RPG'S are where I usually go to get any sorta kick.

I'm also a pretty adamant reader, fantasy and sci-fi are my favorite genres. I've no favorite writer but I do enjoy Stephen King and Dean Koontz, and I'd go to say that King's a huge influence over my work as a writer. I've taken up writing over the last 6 or 7 years ago but when I was younger, I've done it off and on though I wish not to bore anyone with the details.

I enjoy a lot of movies like action and comedy, stuff like Mel Brooks and Jackass, other stuff like old school monster movies (that's an embarrassing detail about me) and The Terminator and its sequel. As for music, I enjoy the old school Linkin Park and Faunts as well as other independent artists like Scott Morgan, Bruce Faulconer, a few orchestrational bands like Ivan Torrent and 2 Steps From Hell. That's just some of what I like.

Anyways, I'm...I'm looking for someone who I can share a real, true and deep bond with, someone who can understand me and accept me, that old chestnut. I'm looking for that 1 person and it seems like everywhere I've looked, I've been unable to find her, which leads me here. I'm looking for someone who's also an introvert and a writer as well, someone who can understand the craziness, so to speak, of a creative mind. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm looking for someone who is as perfectly incomplete as I am.

So, if this sounds like you, than I welcome your company and I hope it leads to something, I can definitely use a friend to talk back and forth about similar interests and what not.

(On a side-note, I've noticed that this has been a very long post and I'm unsure if it's as good as it should be, but hopefully, I'm able to at least find someone to talk to.)

(On another side note, I forgot to mention, I'm slightly picky-ish, but not overally picky-ish. Physically, I'm looking for someone with black, red or varying shades of both hair, someone who is curvy-ish and with blue or green eyes. I also forgot to mention that I LOVE someone with a sense of humor, a nerdy, bookworm-ish sense of humor. )
