[Round Table 2] High Tensions, Small Spaces
It had been a few hours now, Lancelot had kept track. Sir Moore had delivered grim news regarding his current operational condition, and asserted that without repairs involving Forerunner technology, Lancelot would begin to malfunction past the point of no return. That was why he was here, specifically inside data crystal chip on Sir Moore's person in the middle of a Forerunner artifact site, affectionately named FRN-02.
Something had gone wrong. The op was supposed to be quick, sure transportation to and fro the site and the recovery of a viable artifact took time, but hours? Lancelot could not sit around in this prison, blind to the world and events occurring around him, and do nothing. Raising his sword high into the air, Lancelot illuminated the tightly-enclosed void that was the data chip and summoned a table. His knights followed, materializing around the table in an energetic manner. Upon the convening of this Round Table, though, Lancelot could already tell that the atmosphere was quite tense...
...
By the time the voices of bitter knights had faded from the tight confines of the data chip, Lancelot sat on what he could only guess was the floor, more black void among the black void. Then he felt something, another presence here among him. Not too close as to be discerned, but still present as if it could reach out and touch Lancelot. He called out, but received no answer. This was no surprise, and so Lancelot summoned a single chair from the Round Table and sat down in it, attempting to pin point where this ominous feeling was coming from. For now, all there to do was wait.
