Kharazim and Quick Match
So here goes another post that I'm sure will be a moron magnet. I don't care though since just maybe it will encourage someone to look at their conduct.
My opinion concerning Tassador/Tyrande in quick match is something I have no problem voicing. They are not healers and are only a detriment in quick match.
Kharazim has the fortune to be able to talent as either a real healer or as an off healer with some dps talents. This doesn't mean he is an assassin or even a true dps. However in a team with a second dedicated healer he can add some dps to the fight.
In quick match however, the chances of getting two healers is quite slim. This means that if you queue as Kharazim you should realize that you are going to be the only heals vs another support. That means you should play the role you chose, a healer.
If you prefer to do damage, that is fine. Just do it on a real dps and not on a healer. If you choose to take all damage talents as the only support, you are creating the same detrimental situation as having a Tyr/Tass. You won't do competent heals and you definitely don't put out enough damage to make up for the lack of healing.
The most likely scenario is that the enemy team will just slice right thru your entire team while their healer sits back and keeps them alive. Realize that would be entirely your fault.
I will bring this back to what it always seems to come to. Selecting a role is committing to that play style. If you don't wish to heal, don't choose support.
To head this silly argument off before it even starts, I don't care if you like playing dps Kharazim. This is a team game, you are committing to your part as a healer when you choose a support. If you were intended to be a full blown dps, they would adjust the stats to make you output the same damage as a dps. Since they don't, you are not a dps and therefore are not contributing meaningfully to your team.
TLDR: Don't spec Kharazim as crap dps when you're the only heals in QM. Your team will not appreciate the selfishness.
Edit: Someone in the comments made a good point that I think illustrates what I am trying to get across quite well. The support vs support rule was implemented because they found that teams without a support lose a significant amount of games. Enough so that they don't want this situation to occur. Of course after 6 minutes in queue rules go out the window but the point is still valid. If you choose to play Kharazim as a non-healer, you are negating the support rule and placing your team in the position the devs are specifically trying to avoid. One in which their stats prove you have a much lower chance of winning.
