General purpose Authentication and Authorization Library

Would anyone be interested in an open source general purpose authentication/authorization (role-based acl), extensible and light weight library? It leverages the cflogin mechanisms underneath and does not attempt to re-invent that wheel, btw.

I've been thinking about open sourcing it for awhile now, just don't know if it's still useful for anyone and whether I should go through the trouble of cleaning it up and documenting it a bit?
