I need help, please. :(

Hey guys. Long-time lurker here, and I don't make many posts. Just throwing that out there. The issue: I was playing today and was watching someone solo an A rank, when I suddenly get kicked out of my server. I try to login again, and I recieve a notification telling me I'm still logged in, so I need to wait a few moments. I did as it asked and then tried to login again. This time, the game says that it couldn't connect to the server and then shuts down the game. I try to reopen the game (I'm on ps4) and before it shows me the login screen, I just get a white screen with the background music playing. It then tells me the same as before, that it couldn't connect to the server in time. I try this several more times with the same result, so I decide to try and see if the servers are down, or if anyone else is having the same issue. I try to open the lodestone and the SE forums, and neither webpage would load. Other webpages were loading just fine, so I figured maybe it's an SE issue and everyone was experiencing the same thing. I asked my friend to try and log in to both the game and the lodestone, and he tells me that he's having no trouble. At this point I start freaking out a bit, thinking my characters could be gone, or that I won't be able to play again. I've tried everything I can think of to fix this, and I wouldn't normally make a reddit post to help me solve a problem, but seeing as how I can't go to the forums/lodestone for a solution, I have nowhere else to turn. If anybody has a solution or suggestions, I would really appreciate the help. I don't know what else to do. :(

Tl;dr Forced out of game, can't log back in and can't visit the lodestone website or SE forums for possible solutions. Sorry if this post isn't supposed to be here. :(

EDIT: Problem solved itself after a few hours. Thank you all for the helpful suggestions and tips. :)
