[Question]Enemy Controller in current meta?

I was wondering the viability of enemy controller in the current meta. I was thinking about teching it in my zombies; it's able to send my goblin and let me search or put mezuki in the grave for the sake of disrupting an opponents attack or synchro. Albeit, I do go -1 if I use it on anything other than gob zom, but I still want to know if it's foreseeable benefits outweigh it's cost or not. Plus my gold rare looks super smexy :3
