Armor suggestions

Hi reddit! I'm having some problems fighting monsters, I'm actually at 9 star quests in offline and I've unlocked my HR in the online, I'm stuck because my armors don't protect me that much, I have Tetsu S and Double Gore (upgraded both of them, they have 320 defence ca.) and most of the time when I get hit by a Silver Rath or even an Azure rath in the offline 1/3 or even 1/2 of my health is gone (and I eat for defense and life). So what's a good I could create? The silver rath seems pretty good but it requires a looot of rare item and also, as stated, I have problem farming him as I risk to die easily. Same problem for the rebellion hybrid set.
