[Help] When publishing Public Domain books, how do you choose the author?

I have my profile on KDP where I plan to publish my book of short stories.

Recently I thought about publishing some PD books from my country's authors where copyright has expired or have no author. I've searched Amazon and these books are missing (they are very old and only hardcover versions exists on some libraries).

I'd love to digitalize them. I love some of those books (remind me of my childhood), I'll edit them, format them, annotate and publish them.

My question is, do I publish these on my profile (even though they have their authors)? Or do I create a profile for each author?
