Keeping My Friend Off the Street

My best friend from college had his apartment broken into yesterday. He had his rent money in a drawer and they took that along with his microwave, movies, blood pressure medicine(why?!?) and a couple heirlooms that he'll likely never see again. He usually has only about $50 left each month after his bills are paid so he can't afford to have this happen to him. I convinced him to make a GoFundMe but I doubt he'll share it at all. So I'm taking it upon myself. He's really not asking for much. Not trying to replace the things they took. He's just asking for what he needs to make rent this month. Hopefully someone will help or at least share. Thank you.
