I'm living in the medieval times!

Funny

I just saw a TIL post about how

in medieval times it was common to have "2" sleeps per night. You would fall asleep for 4 to 5 hours, wake up for 2 hours or so and fall back to sleep for another 3 to 4. It's been suggested that we may have evolved this way to tend to the fire in order to keep us warm and safe.

That's it! It's not pregnancy hormones or whatnot that keep me up halfway through the night; it's just that my body decided to time travel a few centuries back 4 months ago and loves to spend the night there!

As wonderful as that is, I don't need to tend to a fire (I'm warm enough to power a power-plant) and feel perfectly safe, so if I could sleep a full night once in a while it'd be nice!
