2015 Charity Challenge Season Kickoff!
FOR A DONATION TO COUNT TOWARDS THE LEADERBOARD IT MUST BE MADE DURING THE TWO WEEKS THE CHALLENGE IS ON.
Good Afternoon r/hockey!
This week begins a new journey and adventure for all of us and our teams as training camps open and the season starts up soon after. I want to wish good luck to all the teams and every single one of you as we begin what will hopefully be an enjoyable season here at r/hockey.
THE CHALLENGE:
Inspired by both u/Blinsin and u/lakingsdave we're going to make this a competition between fandoms. Which r/hockey fandom can be the most generous!? We will count any donations made between September 15th, and when the contest ends in two weeks. I will be keeping track of all posts made to this sub with proof of a donation and will add that donation to your teams total unless you state you want it to go to another team than your flair.
Finally. I know that some don't have money to give so we have some conversion. If you can prove you gave blood, $25 will be added to your teams total. We are not going to count volunteer hours this year. It was too hard to keep track of last year unfortunately and proof was hard to come by.
Finally. I will make an update post next Wednesday morning to remind everyone where the contest stands and of the fact that you will only have one week left. Contest will end on October, 1st at Midnight EST time. An announcement of the winning team will be made that Friday. MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN!
