I would say that Irish people are pretty unremarkable for us due to our histories not being related. You guys made good impression during Euro 2012. Despite poor results, your fans were amazing, even outside of stadiums.
I've had an Irish man headbutt me and start wailing at me after having too much to drink. Sadly, that's the only experience I've had with the Irish. Though I have a couple of Scottish friends, and they are really fun, plus awesome accents.
Drink buddies!
I like Celtic and Irish traditional and folk music. Celtic rock and punk also aren't too bad.
I liked the '71 movie which I have recently watched, I heard it was quite accurate in its depiction of the overall political climate in Northern Ireland.
Also, Irish whiskey is my favourite type of whiskey.
They were amongst most liked tourists that came for euro 2012.
Catholics! (if a little strayed recently) ;-)
Beautiful country ,cool accents, drinking bros, ugly women (sorry :(, for my defense we think exactly the same about British women).
We don't.
Came here to say exactly same thing.

There aren't too many Irish people in Poland, and most of us haven't been to Ireland. I have only met one Irish person so far in my life, and it wasn't in Poland.
I think he meant Poles that live in Ireland, silly.
Yeah, but why would that matter? I think Poles would have a more informed opinion of Ireland if there were more Irish people living in here.
I'm not there, probably like other people commenting. Most of us, even if have seen someone Irish, haven't even noticed, because most people can't place people by their accents and apart from football matches people usually don't have national flags on them. In all wars that matter to us, you either did nothing or you were too far away for us to notice what you've done. Is it really so difficult to understand? What do you think of Moldova and Moldovan people?

My brother has worked in Ireland and Scotland. He didn't say anything particular about people. People are people, some are ok, some not. Whole British Islands are just typical western countries, they are well-known and boring, people work not as hard as in Poland, they watch football and drink beer in their free time. Is that the opinion you asked for? I'm sorry, but everything about you falls under "Great Britain" through which it travels to us. For most people you're not any different than UK, maybe apart from religion, which is less and less important nowadays.
You should have specified that you were asking the Poles that live in Ireland, Poles back home lack in the intelligence department (that's why they're still back home).
