ORI+, an expansion to Magic Origins

I organize a weekly drafting group at work. Most of us are pretty bored with Origins at this point, so I decided to spice things up with 24 new uncommons, one added to each booster in an 8-person draft. The intention was to slow the format down a bit, make all of the colors more equally enticing, and give the linear strategies more stuff to try.

Here's the full spoiler, here they are all printed and here's a closeup.

All in all, it went well! Since the expansion only represented 1/15 of the card pool, it had an expectedly minor influence on the draft. Some of the cards are weak or situational, so plenty sat in sideboards (as intended). There were a few glorious moments when people went off with Dizzying Diversity or Recursive Leech, which made the hours spent cutting out cards well worth it. I love designing custom cards, and playing with them is one of the most fun things ever.
