What do you guys know about Indian Motorcycles?

Just moved down here to orlando and Im attending the motorcycle mechanis institute. Everyday I walk out of class I cry. I was looking at the 2016 dark horse. Or maybe the scout. I know metrics, but I don't really know much about Indians. Personal stories about the bikes in question or general facts would be great. Are they easy to work on?

If you're going to a motorcycle mechanics school you're not going to have to worry too much about the difficulty of it. A brand new bike only needs basic maintenance. If you get one, make sure you're doing what the maintenance schedule calls for. Pretty sure those are shaft driven which means less maintenance than chain driven.

Get the bike that you want because you want it.

I rode the Chieftain Vintage & Scout at a demo this year. Loved the Scout. Big bikes aren't really my thing but the Scout was very nimble and quick. Good lookin' too.
