'Free Sample' TapJoy offers

Has anyone tried any of these?

It seems like all my TapJoy is giving me recently (where did the app downloads go?) and I hesitate to give my address to them.

Do you get signed up for things? Do they never leave you alone and send you tons of spam mail? I can filter those easily enough when it's electronic, but it's harder when it's physical.

I need more credits to chase my Red Die Cut Rey!!! I've gone through about 2 million so far!

EDIT: Just pulled Red Die Cut Rey #15!!!

We need a TapJoy "love it or shove it" list. or something like that, where we can list the deals that are easy and pay out, and the ones that are a total scam and never pay credits.

Yeah, maybe something could live over in the side bar? u/throwback22

While were on this, is there a tracker to tell what current inserts are in what packs? like If I open a Boba Fett pack, what inserts are currently available. Im sure this exists, I just don't know where it is.

Hmm, I'm actually not sure. I know there's a current sets tracker in the sidebar, but I don't know if anything gets granular enough to tell you if there's like a double or triple dip going on - I think you just have to check the counts for the cards in-app.

I've noticed that if you log into tapjoy through your mobile browser, they offer you way more app downloads for credits. Not sure why that is, but all I know is I've downloaded maybe a dozen slot machine apps when times were tough. Good luck out there.

Thanks! Yeah, I do that on my iPad, but since I got my new iPhone, I haven't been able to get to it. Going to my.tapjoy.com asks me to log in, and I did that and made an account but no luck. I used to get there by clicking on the "TapJoy" logo at the bottom of the screen in the app, but now that just takes you to terms and conditions, and I haven't seen an actual offer that takes you there yet. :(

Just keep checking in on the free credits tap joy in the SWCT app. sooner or later there will be a yellow tinted offer that says "tap here to get more deals" or something like that. Same thing happened to me a few days ago when I reset my iPhone safari history.

Or you could download the tapjoy app. Don't know if its much different, but worth a try.

The download this app stuff never pays out for me. Is there a trick to it?

RobutRayGunrobotraygun•

You have to let the app run for a couple minutes and the credit should appear. You don't actually have to use it - I usually just leave it open as I do something else. There are a couple that I've never been able to get pay out, but most of the slots/vegas-y ones tend to work.

Cool, thanks. I never really let them run - since it says you just have to open the app. I'll give that a shot.

It's a total scam. You go through several surveys only to end up at a place where you must complete a paid offer. If you send in a Tapjoy 'Missing Credits' thing, they ask for a screenshot that you completed the offer. It requests your name and home mailing address and email several times throughout the process as well.

HammyDrizzle•

Yeah, that's what I was going to add. I think these are set up to NOT pay off, but harvest your contact info. That's why I use throwaway emails and always lie.

1
Grawlix_13•

Yeah all I'm getting nowadays is the junk that never pays out...like samples. Argh

You need a battle plan. I have to run out, but when I get back I will give you my experiences.

Okay, SO.... get a disposable credit card. I recommend Bluebird by American Express (Walmart, $5), but it won't work on some offers. Some need a Visa. Do the signup for a product. You can load money on bluebird on the fly. Most offers only require it trying a 1-3 buck charge at most. A few are higher. However, these cards just decline further charges if there is not enough money, so don't ever keep much in the account. Surveys are fine if you try to figure out what they want to hear from you. Pay attention to the questions. If they ask about purchases, YES, you did make a purchase. If they ask about your company, it's a big one with lots of money, you are high up in it, you make buying decisions. If it asks for pets, you have many. IF it asks about booze, you drink it damn near daily. Anticipate and roll with it. I enjoy taking on a "character" in the surveys. Installing programs: click the link, it goes to Play store. Install. Run it. Push a few buttons. Minimize. Go back to SWCT. Back out of tapjoy, to the main SWCT screen. taptaptap hard on the refresh button in the upper right. See if your points amount goes up. If not, play a little more. Go back try again. Usually it takes practically no activity to get the points. Minimize. return to your play store tab. Click "uninstall". Programs gone. Rinse, repeat. In the play store, you can also swipe left and see a bar with "my programs on it." go there, swipe left to "all programs" tap the x on all the games you tested, and now they are out of your history. Most games you can install each day. Solitaire doesn't work for me though.

₹2M credits? Wow! It's supposed to be ₹270k for a 50/50 chance!

That's seven 50/50 chances that have turned up tails for you :'(

1
tinyasterismsOP•

Oh, I should have been clearer - I'm trying for Red Die Cut Rey. So the packs are 15k an 1:2000 odds!

:C

1
lightmanx5ERUTHAED•

Oh, I... the master packs are ₹15k?

In that case, it's ₹21M for a 50/50 chance. :'[

Which is almost a Gold Elegant Weapon status of ₹28M for their 50/50 chance.

ComoKhaozoitek•

Yep Gold EW odds with a ton less payout/upside... :/

I have done a few of them and I'm not getting stacks of mail or anything. Maybe an occasional magazine or advertisement but it is mostly emails

1
tinyasterismsOP•

I don't remember doing any samples, but I did somehow get signed up for Teen Vogue and also got sent a Miss America Pageant entry form.

I just don't want like a deluge of spam mail to deal with! Thanks!

Good luck!

With the pageant.

2
HammyDrizzle•

Never, ever use an email you care about.

1
HammyDrizzle•

My junk email accounts get ALL GRADES of nonsense "free stuff", "take a survey", "free money" emails.

1
TARDISdJONTLEWIS•

There's an Akaka travel thing on there now for 20k+. They'll mail you something, but good deal.

1
modok_babyCHIEF_JAWA•

You got it! Holy--! That's amazing!

As for those free sample things, I'm pretty sure I've done them where you fill out some information, then have to decline like 50 offers for various things, and then you get to the last page and or awards you whether or not you finish, once you make it that far. At least I think that's how it's happened. I think it may have brought on some email spam which I had to unsubscribe from, but nothing physical.

1
tinyasterismsOP•

Yeah, I flipped like four cards past her and was like, "Wait was that???"

1
babblewrap•

I'll trade you a full set of Disney Store TFA cards for your red die cut Rey. A full set!

1
tinyasterismsOP•

So tempting...so tempting!
