Yen and Miranda Lawson Easter Egg

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but it leapt out at me: during the fight that occurs when Geralt and Yennefer step away from the wake in Skellige, Yen will exclaim "That's one less!" sometimes when Geralt slays one of the beasts. That's exactly what Miranda shouts throughout Mass Effect 2 when she or Shepard kills an enemy.

I suppose it could just be a coincidence, but given some of the similarities between the two characters I think it's kind of a wink on CDPR's part. I haven't been in any other battles where Yen was present so I don't know if this is something she always says, but I thought it was funny.

Well they both have black hair, great asses, and have artificially created good looks. They both have similar personalities, too. They come off as bitchy until you get to know them. One other thing they have in common is that I would bang 'em both.

Now that you mention it, the Triss/Yen decision carries on that same argument's spirit, doesn't it? The devoted, personable and loving friend who viewed you from afar and despaired while you fell into other relationships, or the high-standards, serious and professional woman who's deeply warm to you alone because you're special to her.

Like OMG! For reals, when Geralt is talking to the innkeeper in Skellige he uses the conjunction "but" just like in that piece of media that is popular. That means its totally a reference, right? Right?

The Witcher 3 is just a bunch of easter eggs. I mean, look at the number of swords they use, just like in LOTR!

It did occur to me actually, I knew it was from Mass Effect and that a female said it but I couldn't pinpoint exactly who it was. It's kinda a cool sentiment tbh. The Witcher borrowed fairly liberally from ME so I don't know why taking a line here and there would be off limits either.

Now that you mention it though the two characters are indeed a lot alike. Explains why Triss/Tali were so much better choices to me.
