GWG Challenge #1 Wild @ Avs :: WE'RE FUCKING BACK EDITION!!!!!!!!

###GWG Challenge - Minnesota Wild vs. Colorado Avalanche

Hello all! Today is the start of another season of Avs hockey and with that comes another year of the Game-Winning Goal Challenge! I've been seeing a lot of new names popping up over the last few months so for those who aren't familiar the GWG Challenge is just a fun activity I adopted from a different sub. I'll make a post each game day, usually earlier than I did today, asking you to pick the scorer of the game-winning goal tonight. Along with that I throw in some bonus questions to keep it interesting and there you have it. You can head on over to r/AvsGWG to take a look at the standings from last year and there's links to each challenge I did in the Bonus Winners and GWG Winners threads. As you can see, I go back in at the end of the game, edit in the correct answers and update the standings.

A real quick shoutout to last year's winners! We had

1. u/ktollens with 25pts

2. u/Rodnock with 24pts

3. u/Wolfeater with 20pts

And of course a shoutout to our Flair-Master u/seaseme for making flair for the winners!

I've only got one rule really, and that's to get your picks in before puck drop. A lot of times I have bonus questions pertaining to the first ____ of the game and anyways I need at least some standards for this thing.

Pick whoever you want for the GWG. It doesn't have to be an Av, hell, you could pick Dubnyk tonight for all I care, you never know!

Well, without further delay...

GWG: Pick a player to score the game winning goal. Zach Parise

Bonus 1: Predict the first player on either team to score tonight. Iginla, Parise

Bonus 2: What will be the final score? (Just score, no teams) 5-4

Bonus 3: How many saves will Varly make? 25

#GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Thanks for the gold anonymous user u/Rodnock! Also thanks for the sticky mods!
