Question about character levels
Hey guys, kinda new to the game and unable to find info of what character levels actually do, besides giving you a random item when you reach a new level.

I heard somewhere that it might affect how the inn looks in some respect, but I haven't seen any confirmations of that yet.

I think at level 1 you unlock the Forge, and there is a ruined cellar that may unlock in the full game at a certain level. That could be the inn changes you've heard about.

I think the cellar is where they were going to have combat training, but that isn't making it in to release now.

Outside of giving items and unlocking trinket slots, nothing.

I sort of prefer it this way. As it is I can have friends jump into my game and we'll be essentially on the same level. I don't have to slum it with the lowbies and they don't have to feel outclassed by a level system you have to grind out.
