Few Updates from the Mods

G'day all.

Over the last few days the other mods and myself have been discussing a few different things as well as doing a few different on the side to help the sub. Some of these actually matter. ^^Kinda, ^^Not ^^Really.

Anyhow, the first thing is that we've decided to set up a subreddit Wiki, Located here. We feel that creating this means that we've got all our major information in one place and we wont have to rely on external sources. Currently the only major thing missing is character listings, to which I will be asking all of your guys to set up for yourself sometime soon. As for the old wiki, we'll find some... other use for that.

Secondly, though not really needed to be discussed, but, from now on, any battle or major mod event that will be run, shall be run 5 days after the current date in the sub. What that means is that whilst the big thing is happening, the other characters have 5 in sub days to screw around with so that they're not waiting a month for an event to finish. Whilst not a permanent fix to events taking longer than expected, we believe that it'll help somewhat with the lack of activity during that time.

Thirdly, I have decided to do an update on the subs CSS. I've removed the old dropdown icons in exchange for something a bit more cleaner and less broken. Mostly because of how much it pissed me off. I've also added the new announcement bar at the top that'll follow you wherever you go on here for some reason (I'll see about looking into that). Finally, I've decided to mess about a bit with the Submit page to make it look a bit better and to add a little more text to it. Let me know some feedback on the changes and I'll see what I can do about it. Edit: Ok, sidebar is still a bit broken, but I'll look into that in a bit. Fixed.

Finally, there has been some talk of changing our subs chat room to a different service. Whilst Chatzy has been good for us. It has a lot of problems. There is discussion about moving to a different service entirely. One of which is Skype, which there is already a chat set up and I don't really need to expand on. And the other is Discord, which is my personal favourite, for those who don't know what Discord is, it's a chat service like Chatsy and skype, only it has a cleaner look, more mod options, allows for more channels in the one chat, and it has the ability to summon people at will, say if you want to run something by a mod. This is my personal favourite, however I would want to know what you guys think, so I've set up a Strawpoll located here for you to answer.
