Would you prefer to have a different personality type?
I think the INTP personality type is the absolute worst one a heterosexual male can have and I think I'd be much happier with pretty much any other type.

I don't think it's the worst. ISFP is a pretty useless personality type. Wanting to have something new and do things but being perpetually afraid to go out and do them.
That being said I'd prefer ENTJ. They're more able to achieve their goals and enjoy networking.

Some INTP are just 'healthier' than others. You probably just need to do some honest self refelection/growth to fix your 'problems'.

Hey man, just be happy that you're not an INTJ. Those guys have it real hard when it comes to dating. At least we can make jokes about ourselves or the stuff that were interested in. Those guys are colder than them'all.

No, I like my type well enough (though I have my flaws), and, at the end of the day, I'd rather be myself than someone else.

I dont know, i like my traits the good and the bad, you can work and improve the bad ones and enhance the good ones, you arent "stuck" with your personality you can improve.

i disagree, i miss my single years a lot, when i overcome my shyness i was doing well out there, but i met someone to start a family and let all behind, but as i said recently on another thread routine sucks, being single was exciting women didnt fall on my lap but at the same time it wasnt impossible for me to get them, it was a fun "challenge"...

Sometimes I wish I was extroverted. I don't really like being introverted, but that's one thing that I'm sure will never change about me.

How exactly does your sexual preference determine your ideal personality type? I would maybe like being an ENTJ or an ENTP, yes. ENTJs seem very dedicated and ENTPs are simply interesting for me. But being an INTP is not bad at all. INTPs don't have to deal with too much feelings (well, I mean not as much as the Feeler types) and they are pretty logical. Besides, you don't have to be the stereotypical INTP. Just imagine being a stereotypical ESFP... It's almost like a nightmare for me.

INTJ/ISTJ/ are the most unintersting quiet types I have ever met. Girls don't chase them but they do make it up with status and money. Being stable/provider.
INFP males don't have it easy
I guess you can say that INTP are bad at causal dating but when it comes to love we do it better than most.

INTPs are the introverted type that marries the most. You are focusing on the negatives. In terms of stereotypes, INTPs are generally funny, easy going, smart and stable, you don't have to deal with being seen as arrogant/cold (TJs), pushy/overwhelming (EXXPs) or too emotional/sentimental (XXFX).
Most girls are feelers and extroverted, so they usually are attracted to people who are a bit quieter and more stoic than them but, at the same time, they also value the Ne sense of humor.
Yes, a lot of other types will be better with women but at the end of the day, saying that you'd prefer to be some other type, as anything more than a "what if", is ridiculous self-pity bullshit that a lot of people here use so that they don't have to do work on themselves.
so much this, i overcome my shyness and started dating and most girls wanted serious relationships with me, of course i wasnt dating 10´s but they werent ugly girls either, we have a lot to offer and work with.
Looks are overrated too in the sense that a lot of the most interesting people, from my experience, are within that 6-7 range because they aren't ugly enough to have self-esteem issues but, at the same time, aren't so pretty that everything comes easy to them, so they have to develop their personality.
Yesss, I can't agree more. Rarely was single during highschool, and was 'married' from 21-32, have kids now and still getting laid.
