Text me.
Your voice fills my heart with warmth, and
every time I see you laugh I can't help but smile.
The conversation flows so easily between us, and
I'm begging you to stay for a while.
But you must go, and as you leave,
you turn back with a look of glee,
melt my heart with those eyes,
and slip in a quick, "Text me!"
I sigh.
Because I don't want to text you.
I don't want to erase this moment
and fill it with emotionless crap
that will only lead to torment.
I want to sit here, and be happy
thinking of what we just shared
hoping and praying that you'll come back
and being a healthy kind of scared.
I want to miss you and wonder if you're missing me
I want to know that this feeling is true
I want to be all that you're thinking about (not texting about)
because all I ever think about is you.
definitely need some help with this one, but I like the idea. Constructive criticism is welcome!
