I can be cold

i can be cold.
all it takes is nothing.
what lovely
nothing i am,
the empty space
in a snowflake.

it takes more
to be more than cold,
and i won’t.

i can be absolute.
oh! my emptiness
shivers into you,
a time lapse
of nothing happening
to itself.
