I just played one of the infested survival invasions as Saryn... I cast Spores on ONE target, used my toxin damage Ignis on it, and the spores chain-reaction-popped their way down a hallway, around a corner, and into the next tile.
I have NO idea why people complain about the rework.
Up until the last hotfix, Spores would only spread if they were actually popped as opposed to the target dying with the effect active, so that could've been one thing. Spread-on-death probably helps Spores out a massive bunch now.
Seriously, Saryn is much more interesting character too play now.
Also I'm a big advocate for Viral, so theirs that, the damage numbers are irrelevant considering what Viral do for you're DPS.

Spores popping on death was something we asked for YEARS.
This... "rework" is an atrocity.
