Final Fantasies
I dozed off yesterday thinking of your shoulders
We bobbed and bumped and pushed and bit
At the corners of each other's wants and needs

Each kiss parting ardently, almost unwillingly
Yet still with a smile and some teeth
Rough yet calculated
Calculated yet spontaneous
Spontaneous yet

Planned these feelings from our first conversation
The only warmth around us in reality
Is from the computers in our office cubicles, buzzing, humming
Singing songs of unfortunate circumstances
I dozed off yesterday thinking of your shoulders
Only to wake up nestled into his
