No titles. Just late night thoughts. Haven't written in years. So comments would be appreciated lots.
Deep within me there is a pit of sorrow
Dug for many years
I feel so hollow
On the outside you cannot see
Sometimes I feel it easier for me
To just quit
Constantly crippled by my fear
I am not here
I am not here.
Living in anxiety of my next move
Whether it be righteous
Or if it may be crude
It scares the shit out of me
To think what I could be
For I don't fully know
What awaits in the depths below
Fearful of the things I cannot see.
I lack the drive to be
Others say that I cannot see
My own possibility
For what they see in me I do not know
This part of me I must have let go
During my struggle to survive I suppose.
Hiding from these feelings inside
Which for so long I tried to deny
But they are part me
I've made them up you see
Trapping myself
In my own secluded reality.
I don't know what is real
I don't know what to feel
About myself
Best left on the shelf
Or so my father says
To lock it all within our own heads
But to know what's real you must question
So that you're relieved of all the tension
I want to know how I came to be
The man who you cannot see.
