Just found out my boyfriend cheated on me. I would really appreciate some words of encouragement.

My boyfriend and I are both military. He went home on leave for two weeks in October and got back last week. I received a message on FB earlier tonight telling me to be careful because bf isn't being honest with me. They wouldn't go into detail, but I already knew what they meant because he has cheated before (Flirting with girls. Making plans to go "hang out" when he goes on leave).

Long story short, I confronted him about what he did on leave. He admitted to making out with a girl and nothing more. I asked to see his phone and sure enough, daily messages to girls back in TX saying how much fun he had, "can't wait to see you again ;-) " , good night sexy " and all that jazz.

Tbh, I'm not mad, I'm not sad. I'm just really disappointed. He just kept saying "I'm sorry" "I know I'm a horrible person" and even though he said those things, I felt no remorse from him whatsoever. So I ended it. He can go chase skirts all he wants, I'm not some punk bitch that's going to wait on the sidelines while you try to get your dick wet.

I would really appreciate some words of encouragement and even some stories if you ladies are willing to share. Thank you :-)
