Does anyone know if the Fingerprint version of the surface 4 cover will be available for other countries / keyboard types ?
I'm in Switzerland, would love a Swiss-French version but now the only one listed on the store is the one without fingerprint id.

Quickest solution would be to buy from another site, such as amazon or ebay.
They aren't available and anyway, there's no "Swiss" version of amazon and ebay, the redirect either to the german version where the keyboard layout is different, or the french version.. where the keyboard is different
Both of them ship to Switzerland.
Sorry but this is not the swiss keyboard layout, as I said. It misses accentuated characters. In the French part here, it's an QWERTZ layout.
Ah I see, sorry didn't know.
At the recent MS Future Event held in the last few days, they have said there are currently NO plans on bringing the fingerprint ID keyboard to the UK. So if they won't do it in the UK, I imagine the rest of Europe has an even slimmer chance of seeing it.
I really don't understand this..
I agree, stupid business practices.
What, to follow export control laws regarding cryptographic devices?
Yet other companies, like Apple, can sell their devices with built in fingerprint readers all around the world.
