Another needless shooting.
Another clique wanting acclaim.

Another nation mourning.
Another country joined in pain.
Another night soul searching.
Another "How'd they strike again?"

Another question: what now?
"Another crusade!" some will claim.
Another left or right row
As others cry, "Not in my name!"

Another ban on burqas?
Another Muslim getting shamed?
Another media circus?
Another faceless group to blame?

Another chance to show them
That us and they are not the same.
Another proof that we are one
And won't play their hatred game!
