Legacy of the Void on SP4?
Has anyone tried Legacy of the Void on the SP4? Fallout 4 seems to be out of the running at the moment, but I still need something to play on an upcoming trip :D

I've been playing SC2 campaign on my i5/8GB. Runs okay at 1080p. Make sure to use the DPI compatibility flag. I had one issue where the bottom of the screen didn't allow scrolling, but I think it's an unrelated bug.
outstanding, thanks for the info :)
u/josher14 has made a lot of vids playing different games, here is SC2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCdg1hlQzNY He also has a post about Fallout 4
I was a bit leery of u/josher14 's FO4 SP4 video. I tried to recreate his experience and I've come to the conclusion that he is using black magic or has enslaved a genie.
On the one hand, I'm a big proponent of genie rights and I think it's wrong to subjugate a whole race just so we can play video games. On the other hand... it IS fallout 4... and it's important to keep an open mind about things.
My genie enslavement video is forthcoming.. It really came down to launching it a bunch of times and changing the resolution to 720p on the Surface for me and 720 on the game.. But it is frustrating for sure
Fallout 4 runs, sometimes you have to restart the game 5 or 6 times before it'll launch. Frame rate last time I ran it was 20-25 fps, 1280x720 with high textures, all other settings low and SSAO on
Do you tinker with the settings between launch attempts, or just keep poking it until it's sure you aren't going to let it sleep?
Initially I did, but found that it's just kind of luck of the draw that it ran. I'm running it full screen with the surface pro resolution set to 1280x720
I also found that sometimes it took a really long time to start. Like 2 minutes.
Oh no, Fallout 4 cannot into jewish physics!
