I met you on that autumns night

I remember when you said "Aaaaight"

I didn't realise what we would become

I didn't see because you struck me so dumb.

I fell in love and I thought that you did

I didn't notice how slyly you hid

I believed when you said I was your soul mate

I felt special because everyone else made you hate

I was with you when you were in the bottom of your pit

I wanted to help you so I dove into it

I didn't complain, its what I chose

I couldn't save you, God only knows

I gave you all of my energy

I tried to carry you out, but you have no memory

I fell far behind

I didn't mind

I had a heart attack

I almost never came back

I wasn't afraid to die

I asked the Gods why?

I didn't want to leave you

I held on anew

I had to heal

I held my end of the deal

You just had to wait

You revealed your real self too late.

I loved you for thee years

I earned myself three spears

I drag you down, you said

I tried to fly with you but you were made of lead.

I was a fool

I was only ever your tool

You left, when I needed you most

You left to find a new host

you went away

You left

I am bereft

I am alone.
