Where Should I Love Thee?
I love thee at the frozen shore,
the land called Winter's Wail,
where many hearts did dock before,
yet not a ship could sail.
I love thee at the apple's cane
wherein no fruit can birth;
and supped at wells that washed in vain
the salt which scorched the earth.
I love thee where the sparrows dwell
in wait upon the morn,
where broken wings doth doom to fell
the life the sky hath torn.
I loved thee where in exile pined,
the secret place once called My Mind.
