Why are theory posts almost always downvoted?
I'm probably hated around here, but I don't really care. Anyways, this is just something I've been noticing lately.
Tons of theories are posted everyday, but in place of the standard "1 karma" thing, it's at zero. I just don't understand why people can't just take the ideas of other people in mind. We've been working at FNaF 4's story for months now and we don't have jack shit. You know why? Because pretty much any theory is dismissed.

Because people disagree with them.
Believe me; even if a theory is almost objectively correct because of lots of supporting evidence and nothing against it or something like that, it will get downvoted because people disagree with them.
Opinions? Different than mine? On the internet? BLASPHEMY!
"hey look a guy made a completely valid theory and provided lots of evidence, hmm, I can't disprove this, DOWNVOTE"
clearly the other person is scum and should be burned immediately
I'll go get the sword!
I'll get the mace
It's sad because that's pretty much a violation of Reddit's rules.
Pretty much. Unfortunately, because reddit sucks this way, no way to see who downvoted.
