The Garden Master
One day while I was watering my garden
A man appeared behind me
He uprooted my daffodils believing them to be
"Unsatisfactory"
And left...
The next day I was pruning my rose bush
He grew out of mist and snatched
My cutters, slicing the roses off, declaring
"Unsightly"
And disappeared...
The third day I was ready
Waiting patiently, he manifested once more
He took one look at my small tree
"Unfit"
And with a snap of his fingers it died...
I was sick, and tired of him
Ruining my garden
So I told him
Unabatedly
To leave, so he did...
He did not reappear for a while.
I was tending my garden when
He came again, with flower in glove
Undamaged
"Unlikely" I replied...
The final time I saw the
Garden master was
Unceremonious
He had brought nothing but
Destruction and Death upon me...
And I cried...
