You live under a rock dude? People saying Blake griffin, draymond and AD are ahead of him this year all over

I was under the impression that r/nba was enamored by Kawhi. I guess I don't spend enough time reading comments because I haven't picked up on that. And I really don't think it's that crazy to say that Blake or AD are better than him? At this moment definitely not, in terms of contribution to the success of their teams (or lack thereof), but to say Kawhi is indisputably better than both of them is crazy. I don't think anyone can match Kawhi's defense, but Blake and AD are both better than him on the offensive end. Not to say that Kawhi can't surpass them eventually, but as of right now he isn't as potent of a scorer. People forget how good players are really easily when they can't stay on the court or their teams are playing like dookie. I can see how coming into the season Redditors have all the hype for those players rather than Kawhi though.

Very well said. Kawhi is getting really good faster than it usually takes players (he is only 24). AD and Blake are better than him overall in there careers but kawhi is closing that gap incredibly fast.

1 steal shy of a monster 5x5. Really drives home how arbitrary these things are-- this performance may not even be mentioned a few months from now, but if he had just intercepted a passing lane once instead of grabbing a couple boards and an assist, he'd be in the record books.

I was lucky enough to be at the game tonight and watch him break Denver over his knee. I know it's just the Nuggets but he was so confident scoring all over the floor. He scored in the post, he had the face up game going, the three point shot was on, and he cleaned the glass. It was great watching him take care of business while Duncan and Manu rested. Also, Parker had a bit of a throwback 2nd and 3rd quarter to get SA ahead.

God fucking damnit he was one stat away from a 5x5 against Denver AGAIN!. He was one assist away last season.

I just wan't him to get it so badly. lol
