Why are neckbeard creeps obsessed with the word "logic"?

No matter what point they're making, no matter how stupid, deluded, or outrageously wrong it is, or how completely incompatible the use of logic is to the idea/argument, they'll always end it with something like, "it's logic!" or "get that logic and reason out of here."

What is up with that?
