Stuck in controller mode for LoV

After the 3.1 hotfix patch a few days ago I have been stuck in controller mode when playing Lords of Verminion, even though I'm on PC and don't have a controller plugged in.

Has anyone run into this problem and found a solution to return to mouse mode?
