Wiring Issue with a kicker

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this, if not feel free to tell me to fuck off. I have an Ibanez GSR200FM http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/ibanez-gio-gsr200fm-bass-guitar that I want to convert to a passive pickup set, a separate jazz and p style pickup if possible, and being that it is an active bass I don't know exactly if that is possible. As a kicker I got really high one time and decided it would be a good idea to cut out all of the original wiring (its my secondary bass for the record), although I still have the pots and whatnot. My ultimate question is if it is possible to put in passive pickups and if will I need to buy necessary pots and if so how much would a wiring job like this run me? Again if there is a better place to go please let me know, I'm a college student who would like to spend the least money possible, so any advice would be greatly appreciated
