All That Glitters is Gold
A friend and I were discussing this sentence over lunch today. Specifically, which part of speech does the word "glitters" belong to? I say it is a verb; it tells what the gold is doing. He says "is" is the verb and "glitters" is an adjective to describe "that." What does Reddit think?
