What's your experience of reiki?

I'm interested to know others' experiences of reiki. When I practice it on myself, I'm excited and surprised by how it works for me. I tend to see something in nature like a tree's movement or a ray of sun streaming through a cloud, and it somehow gives me a new perspective on a problem or a situation. The feeling that accompanies this is a mixture of awe or wonder, and when I shortly have a sense that it's down to the reiki, a feeling of excitement as well.
