Wife started having seizures last year. Will that dramatically increase term life insurance premiums?

Wish we had taken care of it earlier but we never got around to it. Wife (36) started having seizures back in December of 2014. Not very often, maybe once every 4-6 weeks. Her license is still suspended until March, which is 6 months from the last one. We think we've gotten them under control with medication.

We have a 3 year old and I was looking into getting a 20 year term policy for both of us. My friend mentioned that it might be best for her to be seizure free for 2-3 years before we even try to get a quote, because if we try too early and she gets something like an "uninsurable" quote, then it could really hurt our chances of getting it later as well. Is this true?

The quotes I received for a 250k policy was anywhere from $180 to $360 per year depending on Standar/Preferred/preferred plus/etc. Does anyone have a clue as to what her premiums might be?
