Does the game have issues with certain GeForce GTX cards?

So, I've got an ASUS GeForce GTX 960 STRIX OC 2G in my PC, 8 gigs DDR ram, more than enough power I thought to run this thing on Ultra. This is a four year old game, my card is relatively new. Yet I try to put SWTOR on ultra and I'm getting sub 20 FPS and every time I turn the camera textures seem to load and reload causing even more chug. Do I just need to update my drivers, or does SWTOR not like this particular card?

Note, if the issue is my card, please don't insult me for purchasing it. I'm on a budget.
