Game stuttering with wheel, is there any fix yet?

Recently I built a new computer that could handle DiRT Rally maxed out (i7 6700k @4.4GHz, GTX 970 4GB, 16GB RAM) and have been able to get a solid 60FPS with vsync on (and much higher with vsync off), but I have a constant stuttering after maybe 10 minutes. Restarting the game seems to fix it for another 10 minutes and it starts again.

This seems to be related to my wheel (Logitech Driving Force GT) because unplugging it and going back to keyboard gets rid of any stutters completely. I understand that many people were having similar issues with Logitech wheels (G27, etc) and was wondering if there was a fix for this that I've missed? I did a bit of searching before and didn't come across anything.

Also, for reference, I'm using Logitech profiler to launch the game (then it loads through Steam I assume), and I'm positive it's not from hardware throttling because the GPU is only running 75c while running DR, and CPU at 41c, so I'm assuming it's a software problem of some sort.
