RO dropped, what about the respondent's case?

My ex was arrested for violating a restraining order that I issued 6 months ago. He is in jail awaiting his hearing in a week. I just got the RO dropped. Does that mean he can be released? Will he still get charged for violating the RO while it was still in effect? This is in Washington County, OR
