What exactly happens during a tie?

So yes, the game is tied i'm not that stupid, but I've tied 3 out of 4 games, and lost the other one, but dropped a 30-bomb. Would this mean that my elo has gotten higher, lower, or relatively stayed the same?

EDIT: Make that 4 out of 5 Ties now...
