large raised sore on the inside of my lip (not a cold sore)

31, M, 5'8, 145lbs, caucasian, no existing medical issues, no medication.

I've had this raised sore inside my lip for the past few weeks. It began, I think, because I bit down hard on my lip. It has mostly been this size, but I feel it sometimes get a little bit smaller, until every once in a while, I accidentally bite down on it when eating and it gets bigger again. It's not painful, just annoying. Should I get this looked at by a doctor?
