Options for student loan forgiveness

So as far as I know, if you're a teacher or work in non profit, you can apply for student loan forgiveness after a certain amount of time.

I currently have been working for a non profit for 2.5 years, but if I paid the minimum payments and stayed in the sector for 10 years, i'm not really saving that much by doing so.

Are there any other ways to pay off, get forgiveness or get financial aid discounts?

EDIT: I only have about 30k in student loans.
